Ztewies are bee enemies found in Ashpit, usually encountered in large groups. They will generally swarm together with other Ztewies and hover around the room - attempting to stay a distance away from Isaac. Periodically a single Ztewie will break away from the swarm before then making a quick dash towards Isaac's position, followed by firing its stinger, attached to their body with a cord, a set distance towards Isaac. Shortly after launching its stinger, the Ztewie will retract it back to their body and retreat back into its swarm.
Trivia
- Ztewie’s name is directly based on Stewie Griffin from Family Guy, in reference to how some bee-themed enemies in Cellar are named after Simpsons characters.
- Ztewies in groups will periodically shimmer as a group, in a similar method that some species of bees use to scare off predators.
