Zephyrs are enemies that fly around the room on a large cloud, floating slowly and erratically after Isaac. If they draw near to Isaac, they will begin loosely orbiting him. While floating, they have 2 attacks which they will periodically cycle through in the following order:
- Calls down a lightning strike directly on Isaac's current position, with the bolt's striking position indicated by a yellow reticle. Upon striking, the lightning bolt creates a ring of electricity that expands gradually for a short period before disappearing. Getting struck by the initial lightning bolt itself deals a whole heart of damage.
- Pulls up the cloud into the air before charging towards Isaac while raining down projectiles beneath it. It will very loosely curve its path to follow Isaac and will stop after a short period or if it reaches a wall. It cannot be damaged while lifted up in the air.
Which attack a Zephyr is about to perform can be indicated by the mark on its forehead: if it glows yellow, its next attack will be the lightning one.

- Zephyr bears some resemblance to a special enemy from the mod Revelations, Prank.
- Zephyr was added in The Spitshine Update.
- Zephyr was originally unused in the initial release of Fiend Folio: Reheated.
