Mobile Mushrooms are rare enemies that exist in a few rooms in 
Caves. They behave like a fusion between a 
Mobile Host and 
Mushroom. Mobile Mushrooms will slowly walks towards Isaac while hiding its face inside its cap, taking only 25% damage while in this state. Occasionally, a Mobile Mushroom will stop in place to raise its head, shooting 4 projectiles in either the cardinal or ordinal directions, before hiding its face again and resuming its chase.
Trivia
- Mobile Mushrooms were originally added as a half-hearted joke in V2.5, which only had one of them appear in a single room in Caves. However, the developers later decided to make Mobile Mushrooms slightly more common in subsequent updates, which had included additional rooms with the enemy.
