Smidgen
Smidgens are baby variants of 
Hosts and behave similarly — being immune to most forms of damage unless their fleshy stem is exposed when they attack. They will fire 2 short-ranged projectiles in a V pattern when Isaac is within range, as opposed to 3 projectiles.
Unlike regular Hosts, Smidgens can be harmed by 
Spikes and explosives while they're concealed in their shells, and their tiny size leads to them being knocked around the room by Isaac's tears or other impacts.
- Their skulls cannot be removed by
Mom's Bracelet.
Variants
Red Smidgen
Red Smidgens are completely vulnerable at all times like their adult counterparts, 
Red Hosts, and they will fire a wide spread of 4 short-ranged projectiles instead of 2.
Eroded Smidgen
Eroded Smidgens are baby variants of 
Eroded Hosts, with weak shells that are vulnerable to damage. Their skulls only have one level of protection before being destroyed.
When their skull is intact, they attack by spewing 2 short-ranged stream of arcing yellow projectiles in a V shape towards Isaac. When the skull is destroyed, they will fire a third additional stream down the center.
Eroded Smidgens can be occasionally encountered without their skull.
Tittle
Tittles are baby variants of 
Floasts. They fly around the room diagonally, occasionally revealing a fleshy stem to shoot 2 short-ranged projectiles at Isaac in a V shape. Like regular Smidgens, they are immune to most forms of damage that aren't explosions, unless their fleshy stem is exposed.
Trivia
- Inside the game files, the folder containing sprites for smidgens is called "baby host", whilst their spritesheets are called "tinie", "red tinie" and "tinie eroded"
- Eroded Smidgens were originally unused in the version of Fiend Folio for Afterbirth+.
- Tittles were added in The Monthiversary Update.
