Vacuoles are donut headed enemies found the Scarred Womb that will trot around the room randomly and will move away from Isaac if he gets close. They will occasionally stop in place to inhale 4 spectral blood projectiles from the room's walls from either its cardinal or ordinal directions. Each projectile's starting location will be indicated by a red tracer on the wall. All 4 projectiles will reach the Vacuole at the same time regardless of its distance from the wall- causing walls further from it to release their projectiles earlier, and after catching all the projectiles it will return to wandering around.
The projectiles created by Vacuoles cannot be destroyed by any means, even 
Lost Contact.
