Ring Leaders are large Willos that resemble Boom Flies although they have drastically different behaviors. They will spawn with a variable amount of Willos that remain fixed in place a distance from themselves as they fly after Isaac. Periodically, the Ring Leader will rotate all their Willos a random distance, orbiting clockwise, and cause them to fire a projectile towards Isaac, as well as spawning a new Willo if its current Willo count is less than what it originally spawned with.

On death, all remaining Willos resume their normal behavior.

Notes

• The amount of Willos that a Ring Leader can spawn with is determined by the room layout.
  • The total amount one can spawn with is determined by its subtype- with 450.2.1 spawning 1 Willo, 450.2.2 spawning 2, and so on.

Trivia

• Ring Leader was inspired by Giant Ghosts from the game Star of Providence.
• As seen in their concept art, Ringleaders were designed to be Level 3 Willos.
