Matte

Mattes are strange hairy enemies that slowly slide randomly around the room, occasionally stopping to reveal their eye in one of the 8 random cardinal and ordinal directions and then fires a loose stream of projectiles with the Rubber Cement.png Rubber Cement effect — bouncing off of walls and obstacles.

Notes

  • If a Matte opens its eye in any of the 3 directions behind it there will be no visual tell as to which specific direction its facing.

Trivia

  • Matte was originally a fan suggestion from a member of the Fiend Folio Cornmunity Discord server, Hairy Ballbastic.
  • Mattes have a unique appearance when encountered on the Glacier floor if the Revelations MOD is installed.
