Morvid
Morvids are skeletal crow-like enemies found in Mausoleum. They can either spawn perched on top of Pillars or on the ground. When on ground, they will slowly totter after Isaac. Perched Morvids will stay stationary and are invulnerable.
Periodically, all Morvids will fly into the air and flock around Isaac's position, travelling over walls and obstacles; they cannot be damaged while mid-air. They will then take turns firing single feather projectiles towards Isaac, with each Morvid generally firing 1 projectile towards Isaac, up to 5 if there are 5 or more Morvids in a room. However, the murder can also randomly occasionally fire 1 more or 1 less total projectile than usual.
Their feather projectiles will fly over obstacles and walls while moving downwards at an angle, this also means that the projectile will fly over Isaac if he's too close to the Morvid's position when the projectile was fired. Due to this, Morvids will always move a set distance away from Isaac before firing a projectile to ensure it will be low enough to make contact by the time it reaches his position. Furthermore, a Morvid's attack can be interrupted if Isaac is too close to its midair position.
After the attack the murder will then fly down to land in random locations in the room away from Isaac, with Perched Morvids returning to random Pillars.
When all other enemies are dead, Perched Morvids will fly into the air and attack before landing on the ground.
Notes
- Morvids will each let out a caw to indicate the start of the attack, a single caw when each Morvid is about to fire a projectile, and another each when the attack is finished.
