Dogrocks are stationary enemies encountered solely in the 
Cathedral. If Isaac is near a Dogrock, he will be subjected to a huge all stats down, which is indicated by the music speed varying wildly, a colorful filter being applied, and a loopy sound effect being played. The stats down will gradually revert if Isaac moves away from the Dogrock or once it's killed, but can also carry over into any rooms Isaac enters.
The stats down is approximately as follows:
Multiple Dogrocks will not stack their debuffs.
Notes
- There is a variant of Dogrock with the subtype 450.37.1 that does not need to be killed to clear the room and will deactivate once the room is cleared. Although they remain, can be killed, and can deal contact damage, they lose their effects and will disappear once Isaac leaves the room.
- The stats down is completely nullified if Isaac has
Rock Bottom.
Trivia
- Dogrock was inspired by a (now unavailable) video made by Tiktoker @mdyjn. The video consisted of a dog facing the camera along with a wavy, hypnotic filter and a looping sound effect; the sounds made while Isaac is within Dogrock's area of effect was sampled directly from this video.[1]
- A yellow colored variant of Dogrock, named Sneaky Retriever, has a 0.1% chance to replace regular Dogrocks. This variant does not perform its effect, and instead will only spin its eye around.
