Harletwin
Harletwins appear to be smaller versions of Homunculus, that attach themselves to the closest enemy with a short cord. They will generally float around aimlessly but will be dragged along by their host. Periodically, they will scream and cause their attached enemy to fire out a ring of 6 projectiles. They will take increased knockback and can be killed separately, however killing their host will cause them to die as well.
Multiple Harletwins can be attached to the same enemy and they do not deal contact damage.
- Harletwins can not attach to other Harletwins.
- Harletwins attached to an enemy linked by a
Cuffs will fire projectiles from all linked enemies, including those attached by other Cuffs down the line as long as the chain reaches the host enemy.
- If a Harletwin is attached to an invincible enemy (e.g a
Stoney or enemy protected by an
Eternal Flickerspirit), the Harletwin has to be killed first to clear the room.
Variants
Effigy
Effigies are psychic variants of Harletwins found in the Cathedral. They behave identically to their counterpart, however the projectiles they cause their host to fire will have the homing effect.
Thrall
Thralls are demonic variants of Harletwins which resemble Begottens. They will periodically screech and make themselves and the enemy they're attached to invisible for a moment, similar to Begottens. Although they can be killed first, killing their linked enemy will free them, causing them to leave the room.
Notes
- If any other Harletwin variants are attached to the same enemy as a Thrall, they will also be turned invisible by its effect.
Trivia
- In the files of Fiend Folio, Harletwins are referred to as "Effigy Red", making them most likely a variant of Effigies rather than the other way around.
