Wheezers are stationary enemies that remain fused to the ground while surrounded by a small cloud of poisonous gas. Wheezers will constantly expand the circle of gas clouds around them, ring by ring, and a single Wheezer could potentially fill an entire room with gas if it is not dealt with.
When a Wheezer takes damage, or after its gas cloud has reached its maximum size for some time, the Wheezer will begin to cough and flinch, causing their gas cloud to halt its growth and start to shrink. The gas cloud will continue to shrink for as long as the Wheezer remains flinched, and the Wheezer will stop flinching to create more gas when left undisturbed for enough time.

- The maximum radius of the poisonous gas cloud is determined by the room layout.
Trivia
- Wheezer is likely inspired by the enemy of the same name from the Dead Space series, as they both are immobile non-aggressive enemies whose only danger towards the player is their production of toxic gas.
