Haemos are variants of 
Bishops encountered in 
Gehenna that behave similarly. They are immobile and will retaliate upon taking any damage by firing a short-ranged burst of projectiles and damaging red creep towards Isaac. If any enemy dies while a Haemo is alive, that enemy will be turned into a pile of goo, resembling those created by 
Globins. These piles of goo have 25 HP and will make quick dashes away from Isaac. If not destroyed in time, they will reform into the enemy they originated from, with their HP fully restored.
Killing a Haemo does not destroy any piles of goo already created.
Notes
- Haemos will not have any effects on Globins and their variants; the piles of goo they create will not spawn an extra Haemo goo to revive them.
- The exception to this are
Glorfs, which will turn into Haemo goos after dying in their floating goo form.

Trivia
- The piles of goo Haemos transform monsters into are referred to as Haemo Globin, making the enemy's design a pun on the word "haemoglobin" (specifically, as it is spelled in British English).
