Bumbler
Bumblers slowly drift towards Isaac, and when they are lined up with him, they shoot a volley of projectiles while propelling themselves backwards. They are briefly stunned on impact with a wall before resuming their normal behavior.
Phoenix
Phoenixes are variants of Bumblers found in Ashpit. They behave identically to their regular counterpart, but will spit out a small bomb followed by 3 fire bone projectiles when attacking.
Upon death it collapses into a pile of ash, setting its HP up to 30 and remaining in this state until all other enemies in the room (excluding other Phoenixes) are killed. When this happens, all collapsed Phoenixes will resurrect in a new form, once again setting its HP back to 30 and releasing small dissipating flames in random directions and lines of fire in the cardinal directions. In this new form, it now spits out a stream of orange projectiles that leave 5 small extinguishable flames on the ground when attacking. Additionally, when the resurrected Phoenix slams into a wall, it releases 2 lines of fire diagonally away from the wall.
While in the ash-pile state, the Phoenix can be killed, preventing it from resurrecting.
Buckshot
Buckshots are tainted variants of Bumblers. They fly quicker than their counterparts and, when lined up with Isaac in a cardinal direction, fire a continuous stream of charging 
Shot Flies while propelling themselves in the opposite direction. Upon reaching a wall, they will pass through it and wrap around to the other side of the room, adjusting its path to line up with Isaac's position as it does so. It will fly across the room fully once, and upon the second pass, collides with the wall, releasing a ring of 8 fast-moving projectiles. Upon death, they quickly charge in the closest cardinal direction to Isaac, exploding in a large disorganized cloud of projectiles that linger for a moment as they hit the wall.
The charging Shot Flies Buckshots shoot while propelling themselves can still be damaged and killed.

- Phoenixes are based on the mythical creatures of the same name - fiery birds that possess the ability to resurrect themselves from their own ashes.
- Bumblers were originally called Level 3 Flies.
