C Word
C Words are stationary invulnerable enemies that will periodically birth out a Neonate, up to a maximum of 5 alive at once. Tears will pass over them and they will not deal contact damage, however they will block Isaac's movement.
They will die once the room is cleared.
Neonate
Neonates are variants of 
Babies that behave similarly but will fire out a stream of 4 projectiles instead, with each subsequent projectile smaller than the one before it. Unlike their counterparts, they cannot teleport.
While primarily spawned by C Word they can appear on their own in a couple of rooms or from 
Amniotic Sacs.
Trivia
- C Word is a reference to one of Edmund's games of the same name.
- If encountered in floors other than
Womb, 
Utero, or 
Dark Room, C Word will adjust its color to match that of the floor.
- While unable to be encountered outside of these floors, C Word will adjust their color to match the floor around them in any floor (though they lack any change in the color of their eyes).
- Neonates use the same sounds when it fires projectiles as Babies did in the original Flash version of The Binding of Isaac.
