Fiend's Horn is a passive item added in the initial release of Fiend Folio.

Effects

• Whenever an enemy dies, there is a 20% chance to spawn an Evil Hollow Minion.
  • Evil Hollow Minions do not drop Black Hearts when the room is cleared and instead disappear in a puff of smoke.
  • The chance to spawn a Minion is affected by luck, reaching a maximum of 35% at 14 luck.
  • The total chance to spawn a Minion increases by +2.5% for every Half Immoral Heart in Isaac's health bar.

Notes

• Each copy of Fiend's Horn Isaac has will cause the item to roll an additional time to spawn an Evil Hollow Minion, meaning enemies have a chance to spawn multiple Minions when killed.

Trivia

• Isaac's appearance with Fiend's Horn is nearly identical to the costume for Little Horn, albeit dripping with some kind of purple paint.
  • According to one of the original developers for The Devil's Harvest, Melongoodposter, Fiend's purple skin is a result of him painting his whole body purple, and is not his natural appearance.
