Evil Sticker is a passive item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Spawns 6 Cursed Pennies upon being picked up.
• Increases the chance for coins, key, bomb, hearts and batteries to become their "cursed" variants.
  • Coin drops have a minimum 33% chance to become a Cursed Penny.
  • Key drops have a 20% chance to become a Spicy Key.
  • Bomb drops have a +10% chance to become a Copper Bomb.
  • Heart drops have a +5% chance to become a Immoral Heart.
  • Battery drops have a +33% chance to become a Cursed Battery.
• Has a 1/13 chance to replace the room clear reward with one of the following:

Interactions

• Fool's Gold: Increases the chance for Coin drops to be replaced with Cursed Pennies from 33% to 50%. Fool's Gold replacing the room clear reward with Cursed Pennies takes priority, and can replace the reward that would have been replaced by Evil Sticker.
• Fiend / Tainted Fiend: Evil Sticker takes priority over Fiend's and The Bastard's innate 5% chance to replace Coin drops with Cursed Pennies.

Trivia

• Evil Sticker is based off of the star stickers that commonly have consolatory text such as "You Tried" written on them — of which had often been used as a reaction image on the internet in a sarcastic context.
  • This is also tied to its unlock condition, as it could be interpreted as pitying (or mocking) the player after they've experienced being blown up by a Cursed Penny.
