Bedtime Story is an active item added in The Reheated Update.
Effects
- On use, it will darken the screen and make all enemies in the room sleepy over the course of 2 seconds, slowing them down until they come to a complete stop.
- Sleepy enemies will not be able to move or attack until effect wears off after 6 seconds, and will take double damage on the next hit they take but also cause them to wake up, ending the effect prematurely.
Notes
- Damage an enemy takes while in the "drowsy" stage of the effect won't interrupt them falling asleep.
Interactions
- Car Battery: Doubles the Sleeping duration to 12 seconds.
- Second Hand: Increases the Sleeping duration by 6 seconds, increasing by another 6 seconds for every additional Trinket Multiplier.
- Car Battery + Second Hand: Both will stack, increasing the initial Sleeping duration to 18 seconds, without any additional Trinket Multipliers.
