Nugget Bombs is a passive item added in the initial release of Fiend Folio.

Effects

• +5 Bombs.
• Bombs spawn a blue turret fly familiar when they explode. These turret flies are stationary and will automatically shoot tears at nearby enemies.
  • The turret flies resembles those spawned from Brown Nugget.
  • The flies are invulnerable and do not deal contact damage, while their tears deal 3.5 damage.
  • All flies will disappear upon leaving the room.
  • A turret's damage, range and fire rate do not scale with Isaac's stats.

Notes

• Getting multiple copies of this item will grant 5 bombs every time it is picked up, but no additional flies will spawn from bombs nor will their tear damage increase.
• The turret flies share their entity limit with Blue Flies and Blue Spiders. If there are 64 in total in the room, no more Pooter familiars can be spawned.

Interactions

• Dr. Fetus: All bombs fired by the player using Dr. Fetus will spawn fly turrets.
• Mr. Mega: Damage of the turret flies is increased to 4.5 per tear.
• Bob's Curse: Turret flies have a chance to poison enemies with their tears.
• Hot Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to shoot Fire Mind tears.
• Sad Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to fire 6 tears in a ring instead of 1.
• Sticky Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to slow enemies with their tears.
• Butt Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to confuse enemies with their tears.
• Glitter Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to charm enemies with their tears.
• Bobby-Bomb: Turret flies now fire homing shots.
• Scatter Bombs: Small bombs created from the main explosion will create tiny turret flies whose tears deal 1.8 damage to enemies.
• Fast Bombs: Turret flies gain an increased rate of fire.
• Nancy Bombs: Turret flies will gain effects based on the type of bomb, as listed above.
• Brimstone Bombs: Turret flies have a chance to fire a Brimstone laser that deals 50% of its tear damage per tick.
• BFFS! / Hive Mind: The turret flies appear bigger, but their stats are unchanged.
• Box of Friends: Instead of copying the flies, using Box of Friends will delete them all.
• Sacrificial Altar: Turret flies can be sacrificed, each dropping a single Penny.
• Anarchist Cookbook / No. 2 / Mr. Boom / Explosive Diarrhea: Bombs spawned by these items will create turret flies as well.
  • Other explosion-creating items, like Kamikaze!, Epic Fetus or Best Friend will not spawn turret flies.
• Cherry Bomb: Cherry Bombs will spawn a Blue Fly when they explode in active rooms. Cherry Bombs will only spawn Blue Flies if there are less than 10 in the room.
• Bomber Boy / Blood Bombs / Bridge Bombs: Does not have any effect on the turret flies.
• Giga Bombs: Giga Bombs will create blue Tainted Pooter familiars when they explode. These shoot 4 bullets that each deal 7 damage, which split into 2 smaller bullets that do 2.5 damage. All of Tainted Pooters tears also have the Rubber Cement effect, where they will bounce off walls and obstacles a few times.
