Devil's Umbrella is a passive item added in the initial release of Fiend Folio.

Effects

• Grants a Half Soul Heart upon being picked up.
• Every time Isaac shoots a tear, he has a 20% chance to fire an arced volley of 10 yellow projectiles that each leave small puddles of yellow creep.

Notes

• Tears in the volley deal a random range of damage between 0.3-0.6, and the creep deals 12% of Isaac's damage per tick.
• Tears in the volley do not scale with Isaac's damage, range or shot speed.
• The chance to fire the volley does not scale with Isaac's luck and will always be 20%.
• Having multiple copies of Devil's Umbrella will add additional tears to the volley.

Interactions

• The Forgotten: Volley of tears will not be created when attacking with the bone club.
• Abyss: Absorbing Devil's Umbrella spawns a unique pink Abyss Locust that drips yellow liquid. The Locust will create a small trail of yellow creep when it flies forward, with the creep dealing 10% of the Locust's damage and fading away after 2 seconds.
• Lost Cork: Creep left by tears in the volley will be twice as large.
