Dad's Postiche is a passive item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Dad's Postiche has a random chance to spawn Blue Skuzzes while firing tears.
  • The maximum amount of Blue Skuzzes that Dad's Postiche can spawn in a room is 10. If there is more than 10 Blue Skuzzes in a room, Dad's Postiche will not spawn more.
• Increases the chance for random Heart pickups to be replaced with Morbid Hearts to ~3%.

Interactions

• BFFS!: Increases the maximum amount of Blue Skuzzes that Dad's Postiche can spawn to 20.
• The Ludovico Technique / Epic Fetus: Will occasionally spawn Blue Skuzzes when moving the tear/crosshair.

Trivia

• This item is the Dad counterpart to Mom's Wig, spawning Blue Skuzzes while shooting tears instead of Blue Spiders.
• This item's appearance and flavor text are a reference to the protagonist Alex Eagleston and his red beard, from the video game YIIK: A Postmodern RPG.
