Error's Crazy Slots is an active item added in The Spitshine Update.

Effects

• On use, spawns a three-numbered slot above Isaac's head. Using the item again will lock in the leftmost unlocked number, and cause the other numbers to roll faster. Once all 3 numbers have been locked in, this item will give the player the item with the ID of the number they rolled, then disappear.
  • Due to this, items with IDs greater than 999, as well as G FUEL! or TMTRAINER items, which have IDs below zero, cannot be obtained this way.
• If the item ID is invalid, will teleport the player to an I AM ERROR Room.
  • This is also true for otherwise valid items that have the internal "Hidden" tag:
    • 059 - The passive version of The Book of Belial obtained by having Birthright as Judas.
    • 656 - The passive version of Damocles given to Isaac when using the active version of Damocles.
    • 714 - Recall.
    • 715 - Hold.
    • Your Eternal Reward and the Boss Badges.
    • The alternate version of Malice, obtained by using Malice as The Bastard.
    • The passive version of Clear Case, obtained when gaining a pocket active item.
    • The 1 max-charge variant of Eternal D12.
    • The 7 varying max-charge variants of Perfectly Generic Object.
    • Dogboard.
    • Red and Yellow Angelic Lyre.
    • Horse Paste.
    • My Story.
    • Fiend's Third Leg.
    • Worm Insignia.
    • Spelling Bee.

Notes

• Error's Crazy Slots will continue to roll the slots while the game is paused. This is to prevent players from abusing pause buffering in order to time it correctly.
• The unassigned item IDs 043, 061, and 666 will always return as invalid; as will any ID greater than the amount of items in the game.
• Despite normally being unavailable, IPad and Eternal Clicker can be obtained via Error's Crazy Slots. This is also true for all of the new X10 items.
• Dropping Error's Crazy Slots before the slots have finished rolling will cause the slots to continue to roll above Isaac's head indefinitely, as only through using Error's Crazy Slots can the effect be concluded.

Interactions

• Car Battery / Eternal Car Battery: No effect.
• TMTRAINER: The item generated by Error's Crazy Slots will not be corrupted.

• Error's Crazy Slots is a fan suggestion from a member of the Fiend Folio Cornmunity Discord server, Haloway.
• The effect of Error's Crazy Slots is a possible reference or successor to the item "Cheat Engine" from The Devil's Harvest MOD, where an item pedestal would spawn on use corresponding to Isaac's held amount of coins, bombs, and keys and the item ID it matches.
