Fiddle Cube is an active item added in The Reheated Update.
Effects
- Grants +0.2 fire rate and +10% damage when used.
- Has a maximum of 5 stacks, granting an effective +1 fire rate and +50% damage with all 5 stacks active.
- Each stack fades away after 5 seconds, unless its duration is refreshed with continuous use of the Fiddle Cube.
Notes
- Fiddle Cube has an internal 0.5 second cooldown between each use.
- The fire rate bonus granted by Fiddle Cube is unaffected by fire rate multipliers brought by other items such as
Soy Milk and 
Polyphemus, meaning that Fiddle Cube will have an increased effect when Isaac has a low rate of fire, and diminished returns when fire rate is high.
Interactions
Car Battery / 
Eternal Car Battery: Each use will stack multiple boosts at once. The maximum stack of boosts is still stacked at 5.
Book of Virtues: Spawns a wisp that disappears at the same time as the stat boost.
Judas + 
Birthright: Doubles the damage boost.
Rock Bottom: The maximum damage/tears bonus achieved with Fiddle Cube will remain when is not in use.
Trivia
- Fiddle Cube is based on fidget cubes, a cube adorned with many clickable buttons meant to fidget with, for anxiety relief and improving concentration.
- "The Devil finds work for idle hands" is an adage used to advise against laziness, as it is thought to only lead to negative outcomes; the phrase debatably originates from an interpretation of Proverbs 16:27-29 in The Bible.
