White Pepper is an active item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• On use, shoots 5 lingering blue flames, similar to flames from The Candle, in a ring around Isaac.
  • The angle of the flames is influenced by the direction Isaac is moving, with one flame following the same trajectory as Isaac.
  • Flames will collide with and bounce off of grids and walls.
• The flames deal damage equal to Isaac's damage stat per tick, and disappear after 10 seconds.
  • The maximum possible damage dealt by a single flame is close to 60 times Isaac's damage stat, dealing damage roughly 6 times per second.

Interactions

• Abyss: Absorbing White Pepper spawns 5 flaming white Abyss Locusts which have a chance to burn enemies.
• Car Battery: Shoots out 10 flames — however, the extra flames will be stacked on top of the original ones.

Trivia

• When a White Pepper flame deals damage to Griddle Horn, it will instantly kill him and drop the Spatula Badge.
• This item is a reference to the Ween album of the same name, White Pepper.
