Emoji Glasses is a passive item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Every tear resembles a different emoji with a unique corresponding effect.
• The tears cycle through 3 random emojis at a time.
• The effects of each emoji tear are included below:
  • Joy: Flies in an arc and shoots tears in a circle (similar to Sprinkler) that deal 0.5× damage
  • Crocodile: Slow moving, piercing tears
  • Chick: Flat Stone effect
  • Sunglasses: Flies in an arc and reverses direction while in midair, similar to My Reflection
  • Imp: Flies in an arc and has a chance to do a critical hit dealing 5× damage, similar to Imp Soda
  • Grimace: Flies in an arc and bruises enemies
  • Walk: Homing effect
  • Neutral: Rubber Cement effect
  • Sick: Flies in an arc, leaving a Mysterious Liquid puddle on impact
  • Boot: Knockout Drops effect
  • Sax: Makes a unique sound on impact
  • Bug: Changes direction erratically every game tick
  • Gift: Flies in an arc and spawns either a Blue Fly, Blue Spider or Blue Skuzz on impact
  • Horse: High velocity tears
  • Nerd: Wiggle Worm and Brain Worm effects
  • Heart Eyes: Flies in an arc and charms enemies
  • Kawaii: Sinus Infection effect
  • Thinking: Eye of the Occult effect, and greatly increased range
  • Invisible: Piercing and spectral
  • Gun: Tear that shoots bullets at nearby enemies while in midair, each dealing 0.5× damage

Interactions

• Brimstone: Emoji tears will fire at the end of the brimstone beam. The beam will also have a cosmetic emoji pattern.
• Cricket's Body / Compound Fracture: The split tears will have unique emoji effects different than the original tear.
• The Ludovico Technique: The tear will cycle through different emoji effects, the rate at which scales with Isaac's tear rate.

Trivia

• The Emoji tears' appearances originate from the default emojis on the Twitter and Discord social media platforms.
  • The Kawaii emoji is the only emoji from Emoji Glasses not originating at all from Discord's default emojis, instead being a reference to a custom-made emoji found in various Discord servers.
