Slippy's Heart is a passive item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Isaac will begin to vibrate in place and flash red when enemies are nearby. While in this state, Isaac has a luck-affected chance to create a random Golden Frog Head fart when enemies are nearby, with the chance being higher the closer the enemy is to Isaac:
  • Fart a little, which does nothing - 20% chance
  • Normal fart that confuses enemies, and knocks enemies and projectiles away - 40% chance
  • Poisonous fart that damages and poisons enemies - 38% chance
  • Multiple poisonous farts that can all damage and poison enemies - 2% chance

Notes

• The range at which enemies need to be within to be able to activate a fart is approximately equivalent to 2 grids away.
• The rate at which farts can be produced when near enemies is at minimum every 1/3rd of a second, and a maximum of 10 seconds.
• The % chance for Isaac to fart every 1/3rd of a second is based on the formula: (Luck × 2 + 5) ÷ Distance
  • A single grid is approximately equal to 40 units of Distance.
  • The minimum amount of luck to affect the chance is capped at -2, and a near-100% chance regardless of distance is expected when Isaac's luck is higher than 48.

Interactions

• Abyss: Absorbing Slippy's Heart spawns an Abyss Locust with a unique appearance. This locust does not have a special effect.

Trivia

• The flavor text for Slippy's Heart is a reference to Frog from Nuclear Throne's Ultra Mutation of the same name.
• The Abyss Locust spawned by absorbing Slippy's Heart with Abyss resembles a Patapon from Patapon — more specifically, a rare version of Patapon named Nyontama.
