The Deluxe is a passive item added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Grants 1 Bone Heart, Morbid Heart, Gold Heart and Eternal Heart.

Interactions

• Improves the effect of various "ingredient" items when obtained:
  • The Sad Onion: Grants an additional tears up.
  • MEAT!: Grants an additional damage up.
  • Midnight Snack: Grants an additional Red Heart container.
  • Rotten Tomato: Increased chance to fire tears that bait enemies.
  • Bacon Grease: Fully heals all Red Heart containers, instead of emptying them.

Trivia

• The Deluxe's appearance is a reference to the Spongebob Squarepants episode "Nasty Patty".
  • The item's name could also be a reference Bubble Bass's Krabby Patty order in the episode "Pickles".
  • The word "deluxe" is also used in typical diner lingo to mean an order with every available condiment, alluding to The Deluxe's flavor text, as well as the fact it combines multiple heart types into one slot of the health bar.
