Vinyl Geode is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Vinyl Geode flips to its A-side when entering an even-numbered floor, and to its B-side when entering an odd-numbered floor.
  • A-side:
    • +1.00 damage.
    • +0.24 shot speed.
    • Geode Bonus: Grants an extra +0.07 speed and +0.20 tears.
  • B-side:
    • +0.20 speed.
    • +0.66 tears.
    • Geode Bonus: Grants an extra +0.30 damage and +0.08 shot speed.

Notes

• ???, Sheol, and the Cathedral count as even floors, while The Chest, Dark Room, The Void, and Home count as odd floors.
• If holding 2 Vinyl Geodes of the same side while changing floor, only one of them will flip sides.
• The two sides of Vinyl Geode are, in actuality, considered separate trinkets in the code — B-side Vinyl Geode cannot drop normally in a run, as its rarity is "Unobtainable", and only A-side Vinyl Geode can appear in the rock trinket pool — however, the A-side Vinyl Geode will immediately flip to its B-side if it appears on an odd-numbered floor.
  • Obtaining either side of the Vinyl Geode through unnatural means, such as through Azurite Spindown or the debug console, will not cause it to flip over if spawned on the wrong floor number.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: The stats granted by either side of the Vinyl Geode increase with the amount of trinket multipliers, including the extra stats granted by the Geode Bonus.
• Azurite Spindown: Rerolling B-side Vinyl Geode will reroll it into A-Side Vinyl Geode, while rerolling A-Side Vinyl Geode will reroll it into Tipsy Geode.
