Achilles is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Enemies gain a random weak spot on their body aligned within one of the four cardinal directions. When an enemy is hit from the direction of this weak spot, they take 50% more damage.
  • The weak spot is invisible, and is only indicated that a tear has landed on a weak spot by a blood splatter.

Notes

• The weak spot will cover an angle within 60° of its chosen direction.
• Lasers, such as from either Technology or Brimstone, are unable to hit these weak spots.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers: Affects the damage enemies take when their weak spot is hit.
  • Henge Rock: Henge Rock's multiplier increase will not affect the damage, regardless of Henge Rock's own multiplier bonus.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Achilles rerolls it into Charcoal.

Trivia

• This trinket is a reference to the story in Greek Mythology of the hero Achilles, who was impervious to damage spare for a sole spot on his ankle, now referred to as one's Achilles' Heel.
