Many of the Familiars added in Fiend Folio are able to be upgraded using the Sewing Machine.

Baby Crater Ingame.png
Baby Crater

  • Crater Baby's tears gain piercing.
  • ×1.5 Damage Up multiplier.

Bag of Bobbies.png
Bag of Bobbies

  • Now spawns 2 Bobbies at once.
  • Now spawns 3 Bobbies at once.

ClutchsCurseFamiliar.png
Clutch's Curse

  • The familiar's explosive tears burst into 4 small, short-ranges tears upon hitting something, similar to Cricket's Body.png Cricket's Body's effect.
  • The explosive tear gains a Flat Stone.png Flat Stone effect, bouncing off the ground several times as it moves.
  • This effect synergizes with the previous effects: the tear creates an explosion and bursts into 4 small tears every time it bounces.
  • Moreover, the small tears fly further away, increasing their range.

Dice Bag.png
Dice Bag

  • Pays out sooner (every 6 cleared rooms).
  • Pays out even sooner (every 4 cleared rooms).

Grabber.png
Grabber

  • Grabber's hands move faster and retract much faster.
  • Grabber doesn't wait as long to grab again.
  • Grabber gains a second hand to grab enemies.
  • Both hands act independent from each other and are thrown whenever Grabber can.

Mrs. Spooter.png
Mrs. Spooter

  • Now fires 3 spread out tears.
  • Now fires 5 spread out tears.

Familiar poky.png
Pet Peeve

  • Leaves a trail of stationary tears when moving. (Note: currently bugged)
  • Leaves a pool of damaging creep after killing an enemy. (Note: currently bugged)

FamiliarPetrock.png
Pet Rock

  • Pet Rock's hitbox is now twice as large as its original one.
  • Pet Rock's hitbox is now three times as large as its original one.

Randy the Snail Ingame.png
Randy the Snail

  • Whenever Randy hits an enemy, it fires a volley of 3 tears towards it, that deal half of Randy's damage.
  • Whenever Randy hits an enemy, it fires a volley of 5 tears towards it.

Sack of Keys?.png
Sack of Keys?

  • Pays out sooner (every 5 rooms cleared).
  • Pays out even sooner (every 3 rooms cleared).

Sibling Syl.png
Sibling Syl

  • ×1.25 Damage multiplier.
  • 25% Tears Up.
  • ×1.50 Damage multiplier instead.
  • 25% Tears Up.

Wimpy Bro Familiar.png
Wimpy Bro

  • Fires a ring of 8 tears every time it lands.
  • The tears deal 2 damage to enemies hit.
  • Nothing (Not yet implemented?).
