Golden Reward Plate

Golden Reward Plates are rare variants of Reward Plates added in Fiend Folio: Reheated. They have a 1% chance to replace regular Reward Plates, but may also appear in very rare rooms. When pressed, they have a chance to give a reward or spawn random enemies in front of each of the doors, with exactly the same possible spawns as regular Regular Plates — however, after being pressed, the button will re-activate and can be pressed again to generate a new reward. After a random amount of presses, between 3-7, the Golden Reward Plate will change its color to grey, and shut off permanently.

Notes

• If enemies are spawned after a Golden Reward Plate is pressed, it will not re-activate until after the room is cleared.

Unlock Condition

• Golden Reward Plate — Press 79 Reward Plates.

Trivia

• The unlock condition requiring 79 pressed Reward Plates is a reference to the atomic number for gold, which is 79.
